Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Procurement, International Development, Project Management, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience managing procurement, acquisition, international development, or related government programs.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience serving as the primary interface with senior government officials, clients, and project teams.
  • Experience managing project schedules, staffing, budgets, deliverables, performance metrics, and project risks.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience supporting international donor-funded procurement programs (e.g., MCC, World Bank, ADB, AfDB, USAID) is highly preferred.
  • French language proficiency is highly preferred.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (up to six one-week trips annually).

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between MCC and the contractor team.
  • Manage overall project execution, staffing, scheduling, resource allocation, and performance.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, work plans, status reports, and other project documentation.
  • Oversee project deliverables and ensure quality assurance and quality control standards are consistently met.
  • Coordinate and support international procurement activities for MCC-funded programs and partner countries.
  • Provide technical guidance on procurement policies, procedures, and standard bidding documents.
  • Monitor project risks, identify issues, and recommend corrective actions.
