Requirements
- C programming and debugging skills.
- Experience using Git for development and patch/branch management.
- Experience with GNU/Linux operating system (CLI) and shell scripting.
- Basic experience with building the Linux kernel and troubleshooting related issues.
- English proficiency at B1 level or above.
- Final-year student or entry-level engineer with strong basics.
- Solid fundamentals in algorithms and data structures.
- Comfortable using AI coding assistants day-to-day with the ability to spot errors.
- Able to read and reason about C / systems code.
- Self-starter who is hungry to learn.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the Endless Lifecycle Support (ELS) team by backporting, patching, and maintaining stability for Linux distributions.
- Learn AI-assisted development workflows across the full development lifecycle, including CVE research.
- Collaborate with the development team on real-world projects and participate in code reviews.
- Write clean, efficient, maintainable code and develop effective unit tests.
- Gain exposure to backend development and system programming.
