Requirements
- Deep, hands-on experience with Magento 2.x (architecture, EAV models, UI components).
- Expertise in WordPress (custom themes, hooks, and plugin development).
- Strong proficiency in PHP 8.x and Object-Oriented Programming.
- Experience managing legacy codebases and documenting inherited systems.
- Solid understanding of Composer and PSR standards.
- Database and performance optimization skills using MySQL, Redis, Varnish, and Elasticsearch.
- Frontend development proficiency in HTML5, CSS (SASS/LESS), and JavaScript.
- Experience with Magento's frontend stack (Knockout.js, RequireJS).
- Working knowledge of Git version control and staging-to-production workflows.
- Experience managing Linux-based server environments (Nginx/Apache).
- Knowledge of security best practices including PCI compliance and WordPress hardening.
- Adobe Certified Professional (Magento) credential is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain client digital ecosystems using Magento 2 and WordPress.
- Assume full technical ownership of client platforms.
- Ensure stability of existing Magento instances and manage WordPress integrations.
- Execute seamless deployments and transitions of technical responsibilities.
- Audit, document, and optimize legacy codebases to address technical debt.
- Configure and manage performance caching layers like Redis, Varnish, and Elasticsearch.
- Integrate e-commerce platforms with external ERPs, CRMs, and marketing tools via REST/GraphQL APIs.
