Requirements
- 2-5 years of backend development experience.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Experience with FastAPI or similar frameworks.
- Experience with modern data stack tools including DBT, Snowflake, S3, or AWS Glue.
- Ability to modify and optimize data transformations.
- Practical experience with distributed systems including Kafka, Redis, and PostgreSQL in scalable production contexts.
- Experience optimizing services and queries for speed and reliability.
- Experience building performant APIs to serve large datasets.
Responsibilities
- Deliver backend services and data features that meet performance goals and support the team’s roadmap.
- Take ownership of code from design through production, ensuring reliability and maintainability.
- Bring a problem-solving mindset to unfamiliar challenges and adapt quickly.
- Continuously improve technical skills and contribute ideas to enhance team performance.
- Work closely with engineers, PMs, and stakeholders to turn requirements into reliable features.
- Participate actively in code reviews and team planning.
