Minimum five to six years recent experience depending on area of focus.

Requirements

  • Active Secret clearance.
  • Minimum 5 years of recent experience managing enterprise IT teams in geographically dispersed locations.
  • Minimum 5 years of recent experience with cloud-based enterprise solutions, VDI, and enterprise systems administration.
  • Minimum 6 years of recent experience with global enterprise network systems including LAN, WAN, MPLS, and BGP.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with IPv4/IPv6 stacks and firewall appliance administration.
  • Minimum 1 year of recent experience leading network personnel and supporting DISA network transport solutions.
  • Active ITIL 4 Practice Manager or Foundation certification.
  • Must obtain required DoD 8140.03 Cyberspace Workforce certifications.
  • Must obtain MCSE, CCIE or CCDE, information security (e.g., CISSP or Security+), and network (e.g., CCNA or Network+) certifications within one month of hire if not already held.
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline preferred.
  • Ability to travel (approx. 25% initially, decreasing to 10% for meetings/support).

Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise systems administration, network operations, and operations and maintenance activities.
  • Serve as the contractor's service owner for enterprise infrastructure services, ensuring adherence to service level objectives.
  • Plan, organize, and direct personnel responsible for operations and maintenance of USMEPCOM networks.
  • Provide technical leadership for operating systems, virtualization platforms, storage, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Perform system-level configuration, validation, integration, and administration of enterprise platforms.
  • Apply Risk Management Framework (RMF) principles to maintain DoD cybersecurity compliance.
  • Lead the Outage Response Team (ORT) and direct incident management, disaster recovery, and COOP efforts.
  • Monitor enterprise performance and identify opportunities for infrastructure improvements and automation.
