Job Details

Experience: At least 2 years

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience designing mechanical components for manufacturing.
Strong proficiency in FreeCAD or another parametric CAD platform.
Experience producing production-ready parts, assemblies, and engineering drawings.
Knowledge of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and Design for Manufacturing principles.
Experience designing for at least two of the following: CNC machining, sheet metal, plastics, or injection molding.

Responsibilities

Create and modify parametric 3D models of mechanical parts and assemblies.
Produce manufacturing-ready drawings with GD&T and tolerance specifications.
Design components for CNC machining, sheet metal, plastics, and injection molding.
Review CAD models for dimensional accuracy and manufacturability.
Perform tolerance stack-up and basic design validation.
Prepare assembly instructions and technical reference documentation.
Identify design issues and recommend practical improvements.
Revise models and documentation based on technical feedback.
