Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in platform, DevEx, or developer tooling roles.
- Hands-on expertise with AI coding tools and agentic development frameworks.
- Strong proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and developer platforms using tools like GitHub Actions, Buildkite, or ArgoCD.
- Proven track record of driving cultural change and adopting new engineering tools/workflows.
- Experience with backend service development, CLI tools, and automation scripting.
- Strong communication skills for internal advisory, workshops, and documentation.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Pulumi) is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) is a plus.
- Understanding of healthcare tech constraints like HIPAA and SOC 2 is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Champion the adoption of AI coding tools like Cursor and Claude Code across the engineering organization.
- Run internal workshops, pairing sessions, and enablement programs on prompt engineering and AI-assisted development.
- Define AI-first development standards and integrate them into engineering culture and onboarding.
- Design, build, and maintain the internal developer platform for secure, high-speed software delivery.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines and self-service infrastructure to weave AI assistance into the SDLC.
- Build intelligent automation for code review, testing, documentation, and deployment using LLMs.
- Architect secure, sandboxed environments for running AI coding agents.
- Establish and track DevEx metrics like DORA and cycle time to drive improvement.
