Requirements
- 5+ years of SEO experience.
- At least 2 years of experience focused on international/multilingual SEO.
- Demonstrated understanding of AEO principles and experience optimizing content for AI-driven search surfaces.
- Experience integrating AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) into content and editorial workflows.
- Proven track record of driving organic growth in non-English markets.
- Deep technical SEO fluency (e.g., site architecture, hreflang, structured data).
- Experience managing editorial or content teams across time zones.
- Familiarity with content strategy and governance in regulated industries like healthcare or finance.
- Strong analytical skills using tools such as GSC, Ahrefs, LLM visibility tools, and Looker.
Responsibilities
- Own international organic growth strategy across all priority markets.
- Develop and execute AEO strategy optimizing content for all search platforms.
- Monitor and analyze brand and content appearance across AI-powered search surfaces.
- Own the operational model for multilingual SEO/AEO content production, leading a distributed team of freelancers and agencies.
- Develop and manage AI-assisted, human-reviewed content workflows and editorial quality frameworks.
- Drive technical SEO strategy including site architecture, crawlability, indexation, hreflang, Core Web Vitals, and structured data.
- Consult on site structure decisions for international expansion.
- Build and manage a content refresh program to improve rankings and answer engine presence.
- Partner with content creators and translators to maintain accuracy and brand voice.
- Define and report on KPIs tied to organic traffic, rankings, AI citation share, and user growth.
