Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or a similar technical role.
  • Experience designing, building, and operating cloud-based environments.
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and deployment automation tools such as Ansible.
  • Experience supporting FedRAMP-authorized or other regulated environments.
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipeline design and implementation.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, Kubernetes, Helm, and microservices architectures.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus and Graphite.
  • Programming experience with Python, Java, Golang, or similar languages, along with scripting skills using tools such as Bash.
  • Strong understanding of operating systems, networking concepts, and file system management.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable infrastructure solutions that improve reliability, performance, and security across existing and new systems.
  • Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient and secure software delivery.
  • Develop monitoring, alerting, and self-healing systems to improve platform health and operational visibility.
  • Support research and development environments by providing reliable infrastructure and automation solutions.
  • Operate and maintain FedRAMP-compliant environments, ensuring adherence to security and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage continuous dependency upgrades, vulnerability remediation, and security improvements within regulated environments.
  • Improve system observability through log analysis, dashboards, automated alerts, and performance monitoring aligned with service objectives.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot production issues and deliver timely solutions.
  • Contribute to infrastructure automation initiatives using tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
  • Promote best practices across cloud operations, security, deployment processes, and infrastructure management.
