Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of PLM platform administration experience.
- Hands-on experience with either PTC Windchill or Siemens Teamcenter in production.
- Proven experience leading PLM upgrades and migrations.
- Working knowledge of Oracle and SQL Server database administration.
- Strong Linux/Unix administration skills.
- Experience operating HA/DR for PLM environments.
- Scripting proficiency in Shell, Python, or Ansible.
- Familiarity with PLM integration brokers and middleware.
- Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and operate Windchill or Teamcenter environments across development, test, and production.
- Lead PLM upgrades, patches, and platform migrations with minimal disruption.
- Manage PLM application servers, web servers, database connectivity, and file vaults.
- Implement and tune HA/DR strategies to ensure reliable and secure PLM operations.
- Optimize PLM performance through query, cache, indexing, and JVM tuning.
- Develop automation scripts using Shell, Python, or Ansible to reduce operational toil.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation including architecture diagrams and runbooks.
- Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers through code and design reviews.
