Requirements
- 5+ years in software and ML / AI engineering
- Experience in a role with responsibility for others (formal or informal)
- Production experience with systems running in client environments
- Proficiency with Python, infra, data pipelines, and cloud systems
- Experience using LLMs, agents, and frontier tooling
- Ability to scope, estimate, and deliver projects end-to-end
- Strong problem-solving mindset and communication skills
- Genuine interest in healthcare technology
- Full-stack engineering mindset
- Knowledge of healthcare standards like HL7/FHIR or DICOM (nice to have)
- Degree in CS, Biomedical Engineering, ECE, or related field (nice to have)
Responsibilities
- Architect data/AI solutions for healthcare clients (data platforms, ML/AI systems, agents, and more)
- Lead a team of 2-5 engineers working on particular projects
- Own technical quality through code review, standards, and best practices across the team
- Perform pre-sales technical work including discovery sessions, scoping, and technical proposals
- Mentor junior engineers and facilitate their growth
- Build internal IP and reusable components for healthcare AI
- Contribute to the technical and strategic direction of the company
