Requirements
- Proven experience in claims handling roles or industry.
- Experience building relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong customer focus and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite and Google Workspace applications.
- Strong knowledge of coverage analysis, claims investigation, and litigation management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to drive initiative.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Prior startup experience is a plus.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economy, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field preferred.
- Adjuster license(s) or CPCU/AIC designation(s) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage and process incoming claims efficiently, ensuring accuracy, fairness, and timely resolution.
- Communicate directly with customers, providers, insureds, brokers, and partners.
- Assist the Claims Manager in investigating claims by reviewing documentation and identifying discrepancies.
- Maintain detailed and compliant records for audit and regulatory purposes.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and underwriting teams to improve workflows and automate routine tasks.
- Monitor statistical data to ensure efficient claims handling is maintained.
- Help build and refine the claims playbook, SOPs, and knowledge base.
