Requirements
- Hands-on experience securing AWS production environments.
- Comfortable with AWS core security services: GuardDuty, Security Hub, WAF, and CloudTrail.
- Strong understanding of AWS core infrastructure: VPC, EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, and EKS.
- Proficiency with Terraform for managing and securing cloud infrastructure.
- Proven experience with the full lifecycle of security incident response.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Go, or Bash).
- Solid understanding of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities.
- Ability to use AI tools for efficiency, quality, and decision-making.
- Ability to operate with a global-first mindset.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and investigate security alerts from AWS infrastructure, application logs, and security tools like WAF, SIEM, and cloud-native solutions.
- Respond to security incidents directly impacting the Tripadvisor Experiences application.
- Triage vulnerabilities reported through bug bounty programs and external sources.
- Build and maintain security monitoring and alerting capabilities.
- Automate security operations tasks using Python or Go.
- Configure and manage security tools including WAF, AWS GuardDuty, and Security Hub.
- Operationalize findings from SAST, DAST, and SCA tools to guide engineering remediation.
- Conduct threat modeling for new features to identify and mitigate risks.
