Requirements
- 2+ years of professional experience editing short-form content for social platforms (Reels, TikTok, Shorts).
- Fluent written and spoken English proficiency.
- Expertise in Premiere Pro, CapCut, or equivalent high-speed editing software.
- Advanced ability to design carousels and format content beyond video.
- Demonstrable experience using AI tools for editing, captioning, and content repurposing.
- Proven track record of managing publishing cadences and scheduling across platforms.
- Strong understanding of hooks, audience retention, and social media pacing.
- Ability to work independently without detailed creative briefs or constant supervision.
- Reliable high-speed internet and home office setup.
- Portfolio or video reel showing past short-form work is mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Transform raw footage (podcasts, interviews, talking heads) into high-performing short-form content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
- Design and publish carousels and blog content as needed.
- Own and manage the publishing calendar in coordination with the Marketing Strategist.
- Analyze platform performance metrics including retention, watch time, shares, and follower growth to inform strategy.
- Monitor social trends to identify new opportunities for engagement and growth.
- Use AI tools to accelerate editing, captioning, and repurposing processes without sacrificing quality.
