Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering.
- Solid experience with large-scale architectural patterns.
- Experience with event-driven microservices.
- Experience building well-designed APIs and efficient algorithms.
- Proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Proficiency in MongoDB.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes or message queuing systems.
- Professional attitude towards software craftsmanship including testing.
- Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English.
Responsibilities
- Build quoting and routing algorithms to calculate prices for global goods movement.
- Ingest live tracking data from ships, trucks, and airplanes to infer supply chain actions.
- Automate logistics processes to increase automation levels from 5% to 90%.
- Develop scalable, event-driven microservice architectures using CQRS and event sourcing patterns.
- Lead engineering-wide initiatives and interact with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Write concise Architectural Decision Records (ADRs).
- Mentor engineers of various levels.
- Improve and refactor critical system components.
