Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of four (4) years of related and verifiable work experience.
- Proficiency using software programs including MS Word, Excel, Keynote/PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Demonstrated essential programming skills including Python, Powershell, or shell scripting.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including proofreading and editing capabilities.
- Ability to multi-task and work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Ability to interact professionally in an immersive, fast-paced academic environment.
Responsibilities
- Create an environment of learning through effective teaching skills, maintain student-centered focus, and stay current with relevant industry standards.
- Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and encourage active learning.
- Perform lectures for campus courses, and hold scheduled virtual course meetings for online courses.
- Interact positively with diverse student populations and provide equal opportunities for learning.
- Maintain knowledge and skill relevancy through continuing education as defined in the faculty development plan.
- Adhere to university policies, procedures, and attendance standards.
