Requirements

  • 7+ years of Salesforce engineering experience.
  • At least 2 years in a lead, architect, or senior individual contributor role.
  • Expert-level Apex skills (Batch, Queueable, Future).
  • Proficiency in SOQL optimization and governor limit management.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer II certification required.
  • Strong understanding of the Salesforce security model, sharing architecture, and data access patterns.
  • Experience with SFDX, CI/CD pipelines, and version-controlled development.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and governing integrations with enterprise systems (e.g., Workday, Boomi).
  • Ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers.
  • Excellent communication skills for architecture reviews and business stakeholder sessions.
  • Application Architect or System Architect certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Own the Salesforce platform architecture, including data model, security model, and integration architecture.
  • Lead technical design and delivery for complex features, integrations, and platform enhancements.
  • Manage two Salesforce Engineers, providing technical direction, code review, mentorship, and career development.
  • Architect and maintain integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems using Boomi middleware and API patterns.
  • Define and enforce coding standards, design patterns, and release management practices.
  • Lead discovery and requirements analysis sessions with business stakeholders.
  • Manage platform health, including technical debt, governor limits, and security posture.
  • Drive tri-annual release management and testing coordination.
