Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in content marketing, SEO writing, or a closely related field.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating writing quality and search performance.
- Hands-on experience with SEO tools: Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Google Search Console.
- Proven understanding of on-page SEO best practices (keyword research, search intent, internal linking).
- Familiarity with Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) / AI search optimization.
- Ability to produce long-form guides, blog posts, and landing page copy.
- Self-directed approach with ability to work as an individual contributor in a fast-moving environment.
Responsibilities
- Plan, write, and publish blog posts targeting high-value keywords in the Greek life, collegiate, and apparel space.
- Develop and execute a backlink strategy to build authority through guest posts and relationships.
- Optimize meta titles, headers, and site content to drive organic traffic and revenue.
- Create content specifically designed to earn citations in AI search engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews.
- Track performance metrics including keyword rankings and domain authority to shape the content roadmap.
