- Obsessive attention to accuracy and ability to back up all claims with research.
- Self-starter energy with the ability to take a brief and produce better results.
- Comfortable using AI tools for efficiency without sacrificing quality or voice.
- Genuine curiosity about security and compliance or the ability to master these topics quickly.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment within the EST timezone.
Responsibilities
- Write in-depth, opinionated content on security, compliance, and audit topics such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and penetration testing.
- Transform internal knowledge and founder perspectives into technically bulletproof, research-backed content.
- Conduct deep research by reading standards and frameworks to defend claims against technical scrutiny.
- Develop a distinct, authoritative writing voice that avoids industry fluff.
- Optimize content for search and AI answer engines while maintaining technical depth.
- Manage an editorial calendar and maintain a consistent publishing cadence.
