Job Details

Experience: Four (4) years of experience as a Software Engineer or in related role involving technical management

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field.
Four years of experience as a Software Engineer or related role involving technical management.
Proven experience with Java.
Experience developing and maintaining RESTful web services.
Experience utilizing SQL relational databases.
Experience architecting distributed and scalable systems in cloud environments (AWS).
Experience using monitoring and observability tools such as Opsgenie or Datadog.

Plan, direct, and oversee the full software project lifecycle, including requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
Supervise and mentor a team of five software engineers, setting priorities, providing technical guidance, and conducting performance evaluations.
Drive strategic technical decisions, approving design approaches and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Collaborate with senior leadership to define long-term engineering strategy, roadmap, and talent needs.
Establish and enforce standards around system architecture, testing, documentation, and performance benchmarks.
Direct engineering teams in building scalable and reliable event-driven systems using AWS, Java, Python, SQL, DynamoDB, and Kafka.
Provide oversight for projects requiring compliance with SMS A2P 10DLC regulations.
Oversee initiatives to improve email deliverability and reputation, including anti-spam and phishing prevention.
