Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience as a Microsoft SQL Server Database Administrator.
- Extensive experience with SQL Server 2012 through to SQL Server 2022/2025 on Windows platforms.
- Deep expertise in architecting and rescuing failing replication topologies and handling replication during network partitions.
- Familiarity with managing the relational backend for SailPoint IdentityIQ or IdentityNow.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server architecture, security, backup, recovery, and performance tuning.
- Proficiency in writing and optimizing complex SQL statements, stored procedures, and triggers.
- Demonstrated experience delivering implementations, upgrades, migrations, conversions, and consolidation projects.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and take ownership of technical issues.
- Relevant Microsoft SQL certification or willingness to obtain one.
- Familiarity with ITIL practices or a willingness to work within an ITIL framework.
- Advanced level of English (C1).
Responsibilities
- Managing and optimizing complex Microsoft SQL Server environments with a focus on the SailPoint Identity Governance platform.
- Taking ownership of database administration, upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning.
- Designing, maintaining, and troubleshooting advanced SQL Server Replication topologies.
- Ensuring reliable data synchronization across on-premises and cloud environments.
- Resolving replication latency, blocking, deadlocks, and transaction log issues in highly transactional systems.
- Supporting SQL Server upgrades, migrations, and cloud transformation initiatives.
- Implementing and maintaining high-availability and disaster recovery solutions such as Always On Availability Groups, Log Shipping, and Database Mirroring.
- Collaborating with infrastructure, identity management, and application teams to investigate production issues and optimize database performance.
