Requirements
- Proven experience with Unity SDK, including release cycles and versioning strategies.
- Proficiency with Unity Package Manager and dependency management.
- Strong ability to read, analyze, and modify C# code in existing projects.
- Understanding of Unity standalone application REST API consumption, including JSON serialization and HTTP clients.
- Experience configuring and building Unity standalone targets for Windows and Linux.
- Ability to reproduce and diagnose runtime issues locally using logs and breakpoints.
- English language proficiency at B2+ level for technical documentation and stakeholder communication.
Responsibilities
- Review Unity SDK release notes monthly to identify and flag breaking changes.
- Assess the impact of Unity SDK updates on existing API integrations with Django.
- Perform reactive compatibility patching on the Unity client side following updates.
- Conduct incident diagnostics for issues such as frozen screens, stale content, or failed configuration updates.
- Clarify root causes and implement technical fixes.
- Collaborate with backend teams and stakeholders to document known issues and workarounds in runbooks.
