Requirements
- Proven track record of owning and driving impactful product initiatives end-to-end as a senior/staff individual contributor.
- Demonstrated senior-level experience leading system design and architecture decisions, including technical planning and cross-team ownership.
- Expertise in high-level programming languages, specifically TypeScript (preferred), Python, Java, Rust, or Go.
- Expertise in frameworks for creating scalable web applications, specifically React (strongly preferred), Angular, Vue, or Svelte.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment with shifting priorities.
- Experience leveraging AI to accelerate product development.
- Business-Fluent English (written and verbal) for internal and external communication.
- Experience building software around complex domain specifications (nice to have).
- Domain knowledge in Climate/Sustainability, Construction Tech, or Manufacturing (nice to have).
- Experience creating and maintaining design systems or component libraries (nice to have).
- Experience in UI/UX design (nice to have).
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the entire frontend codebase and architecture.
- Act as the primary expert in the frontend domain across the organization.
- Collaborate with design to create a consistent, reusable design system.
- Own the full product loop from discovery conversations and hypothesis formation to shipping and measuring impact.
- Build prototypes and new applications from zero to one.
- Coach and mentor engineers on system architecture.
- Improve development tooling, processes, and abstractions.
