Requirements
- 7+ years of experience working with SRE, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure environments.
- At least 2 years of practical experience with FinOps, including cloud cost management and resource optimization.
- Strong knowledge of GCP and/or AWS cloud platforms.
- Experience with Terraform and infrastructure as code (IaC) practices.
- Hands-on experience managing Kubernetes clusters, orchestration, GKE, or equivalent technologies.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Previous development experience with Java and/or Python.
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and DataDog.
- Knowledge of infrastructure security practices, including identity management, vulnerability scanning, and security analysis tools.
- Cloud certifications from GCP and/or AWS are considered a strong advantage.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Act as a technical reference for SRE, DevOps, and cloud infrastructure within supported teams and client environments.
- Analyze cloud environments in GCP and/or AWS, identifying opportunities for technical improvements and cost optimization.
- Implement FinOps strategies, including resource rightsizing, cloud cost management, and efficiency improvements.
- Maintain and evolve CI/CD pipelines to improve automation, reliability, and delivery processes.
- Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform, ensuring scalable and maintainable environments.
- Guarantee availability, performance, and scalability of production environments.
- Support cloud migration initiatives, including transitions between different cloud platforms.
- Administer and optimize Kubernetes clusters and containerized environments.
- Implement and improve monitoring and observability solutions using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, DataDog, and cloud-native monitoring services.
- Provide consultative support, communicating technical recommendations clearly with engineering teams and business stakeholders.
