Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field
- 6+ years of experience in data operations, analytics engineering, or commercial data management within pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare
- At least 2 years in a senior individual contributor or lead role
- Hands-on experience with specialty pharmacy data
- Strong technical toolkit: advanced SQL, Python, dbt or comparable transformation framework
- Experience with AWS/S3 or equivalent cloud infrastructure
- Demonstrated ability to model data thoughtfully
- Ability to push back on vendors and stakeholders to maintain data quality
- Strong communication skills for translating technical tradeoffs to non-technical leaders
- Working knowledge of SP data aggregation platforms is a plus
- Familiarity with Veeva software tools including Network and Nitro is a plus
Responsibilities
- Own intake and integration of commercial data sources, including specialty pharmacy, REMS, claims, and field/CRM data
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for data aggregators and external vendors
- Design and maintain the data models, transformations, and consumption layers for analytics and reporting
- Build and operate scalable, credential-safe data pipelines
- Establish and enforce data governance practices including lineage, definitions, access controls, and audit trails
- Partner with Commercial Analytics, Forecasting, Field Operations, Market Access, and IT
- Ensure data products meet consumer needs and compliance with HIPAA and PDMA requirements
- Build documentation, runbooks, and monitoring for the data function
