Requirements
- Appropriate certification in Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (or other specified IT certifications like CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, CISSP, or AWS certifications).
- Minimum of one year of experience in a training setting, ideally delivering IT certification bootcamps.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Teams for synchronous online teaching.
- Familiarity with training tools such as CertMaster or TestOut.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with learning technologies like Canvas.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and solve problems rapidly.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Teach synchronous online courses via Microsoft Teams.
- Plan and organize instruction to maximize student learning and certification readiness.
- Modify instructional methods to meet diverse student needs.
- Design, update, and align course materials with college standards.
- Maintain student attendance and grade records in the database.
- Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and institutional policies.
- Maintain active subject matter certifications through renewal.
