Requirements
- Background in logistics, freight, or e-commerce operations.
- Working understanding of HS codes and customs classification.
- Familiarity with commercial invoices and cross-border shipping documentation.
- Ability to execute daily operational playbooks independently.
- Strong attention to detail and dependable daily throughput.
- Experience coordinating directly with freight brokers and vendors.
- Experience with inventory reconciliation processes (preferred).
- Experience with internal ops software, calculators, or WMS platforms (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Execute daily logistics operations playbooks and apply independent judgment for non-standard cases.
- Source and compare freight brokerage quotes to balance delivery timelines against costs.
- Coordinate with freight brokers to confirm bookings, track shipments, and resolve transit delays.
- Reconcile inventory upon receipt by verifying quantities and condition against purchase orders.
- Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure timely inbounding and prevent processing bottlenecks.
- Review commercial invoices for accuracy on cross-border shipments.
- Apply working knowledge of HS codes to classify shipments and prevent customs delays.
- Maintain accurate records in internal operations tools and flag discrepancies promptly.
