Requirements
- Senior-level experience as a QA Automation Engineer working with large-scale agile software development teams.
- Strong experience designing and implementing automation frameworks for UI and backend testing.
- Advanced knowledge of modern UI automation tools, with hands-on experience using Playwright or Selenium WebDriver.
- Strong programming skills in Java, including experience with build automation tools such as Gradle, Maven, or equivalent solutions.
- Practical experience with BDD frameworks, especially Cucumber, for creating and executing automated test scenarios.
- Solid experience testing APIs and web services using tools such as REST Assured.
- Familiarity with CI/CD environments and automation execution through tools such as Jenkins.
- Experience working with advanced testing protocols or technologies such as gRPC or GraphQL is a plus.
- Knowledge of Spring Boot integration within QA automation environments is desirable.
- Experience running automated testing solutions in cloud environments such as AWS or GCP is highly valued.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and ability to collaborate effectively with distributed teams.
- Professional English proficiency to participate in technical discussions and collaborate with international stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and scale automated testing frameworks from the ground up to support web applications, APIs, and backend microservices.
- Build and maintain robust end-to-end UI automation suites to validate complex user workflows and application behavior.
- Develop automated tests for RESTful APIs, GraphQL services, and distributed microservice architectures.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Developers to translate business and technical requirements into effective automation scenarios using Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable shift-left testing and automated quality gates throughout the delivery process.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and improve unstable or failing automated tests while providing clear defect reports and quality metrics.
- Support continuous improvement of QA processes by implementing best practices for test automation, reliability, and scalability.
- Contribute to agile engineering teams by promoting a strong quality culture and ensuring software stability across releases.
