Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Business Analytics, Data Science, Accounting, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience managing large datasets and programming.
- 7 years of experience in full SDLC methodologies and implementation methods.
- In-depth experience in Extract, Transformation, and Load (ETL) techniques.
- Expert knowledge of object-oriented methodology and development toolsets.
- Expert-level Python proficiency, specifically with Pandas, ORM, SQLalchemy, OS, logging, urllib, Numpy, and Matplotlib.
- Demonstrated experience with PowerBI and Tableau.
- Expert-level Microsoft Excel skills, including Macros, Pivot Tables, and advanced formulas.
- Expert fluency in SQL-based data manipulation and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Advanced experience in multi-tier architecture and database design, loading, and schema construction.
- Expert working knowledge in IDEs, specifically Visual Studio Code.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Royalty Group in managing, storing, and accessing large volumes of music data.
- Design, develop, and implement ETL processes to store diverse file types into SQL Server instances.
- Integrate data wrangling processes and cloud development for existing and future workflows.
- Develop automated processes to ingest, consolidate, normalize, and analyze data.
- Integrate API functionality from third-party providers into website and back-end processes.
- Act as a liaison between the Royalty Group and IT to define software and database options.
- Own algorithm development projects from design through deployment and analysis.
- Set up and manage data rooms for clients and third parties.
