Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field
- Active CompTIA Security+ certification
- At least three years of professional field experience or two years of teaching experience
- Advanced subject matter expertise in cybersecurity
- Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Familiarity with learning technologies such as Canvas
- Ability to work independently and multitask
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment
- Highly recommended certifications: CompTIA Pentest+, CySA+, CISSP, CGRC, or CEH
- Preferred: Experience in synchronous online teaching and curriculum development
Responsibilities
- Deliver synchronous online courses via Microsoft Teams
- Plan and organize instruction to maximize student learning and engagement
- Lead certification test preparation sessions
- Update course shells, syllabi, exam banks, and assignments
- Maintain student records in the database and ensure compliance with accreditation standards
- Provide regular student support sessions
- Collaborate with staff on instructional projects and institutional goals
