Requirements
- 6+ years of UX/UI design experience in B2B SaaS.
- 2+ years of experience leading a design team in a fast-paced, small-team environment.
- Proven track record of simultaneously managing a team and personally shipping high-quality product work.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design for complex workflows, multi-sided platforms, or enterprise tools.
- Expert-level proficiency in Figma, including design systems, design tokens, component libraries, and prototyping.
- Experience designing for multiple user types with distinct mental models and goals.
- Proven ability to lead research, synthesize findings, and translate insights into design decisions.
- Ability to own and report on design metrics like adoption, engagement, and task completion.
- Collaborative and opinionated mindset with the ability to defend design points of view.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.
- Exceptional written and spoken English.
Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and mentor the design team to set high standards for craft, process, and delivery.
- Run regular design critiques and provide actionable feedback to ensure a consistent quality bar.
- Own the end-to-end design process, including scoping, reviews, handoffs, and performance measurement.
- Manage team growth, including defining roles, evaluating portfolios, and hiring as the company scales.
- Act as the connective tissue between design, product, and engineering teams.
- Contribute directly as an individual contributor on complex design work, including UX/UI vision and execution.
- Build and maintain a cohesive design system in Figma, including tokens, components, and variables.
- Own engineering handoffs by delivering precise, interpretation-free specifications.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to ground decisions in real user behavior.
- Track and own design impact metrics such as product adoption and user engagement.
