Requirements
- Work experience in data engineering.
- Work experience in data programming languages such as Java or Python.
- Work experience in a Big Data ecosystem including file systems, data structures/databases, automation, and security.
- Work experience in a production cloud infrastructure.
- High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (Redshift, Spectrum, S3) preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Healthcare claims/providers/members data ETL and reporting.
- Proficiency with relational, graph, and noSQL databases, and expertise in SQL.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Proficiency in Alteryx and Tableau.
Responsibilities
- Finds trends in datasets and develops workflows and algorithms to make raw data useful to the enterprise.
- Designs and implements standardized data management procedures around data staging, ingestion, preparation, provisioning, and destruction.
- Ensures quality of technical solutions as data moves across Healthfirst environments.
- Develops, constructs, tests, and maintains data architectures aligned with business requirements.
- Deploys sophisticated analytics programs, machine learning, and statistical methods for predictive and prescriptive modeling.
- Creates data monitoring capabilities and contributes to overall solution architecture.
