Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer or in a closely related role.
- 2+ years of experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Strong Python skills for writing production-ready code in distributed data environments.
- Advanced SQL proficiency and experience with relational databases.
- Expertise in DWH data modeling, ETL/ELT architectures, and modern data design patterns.
- Understanding of cloud architecture, networking, security, and scalable systems.
- Experience working with large-scale, high-volume datasets.
- Strong ownership mindset and ability to operate autonomously.
- B2 English proficiency.
- Experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, and PySpark (nice to have).
- Knowledge of Apache Airflow, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions (nice to have).
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, production-grade data pipelines, data models, and processing frameworks in cloud environments.
- Lead the technical design of cloud data architectures, contributing to standards, guidelines, and long-term platform strategy.
- Drive best practices in data engineering including quality assurance, lineage, observability, testing, and documentation.
- Optimize data workflows for performance, cost efficiency, and reliability across distributed systems.
- Collaborate with clients and senior stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and automation to streamline deployments.
- Mentor mid-level engineers to support their technical growth.
