Requirements
- Current certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
- Active medical license in good standing.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a clinical role.
- Proficiency in prescribing medication when clinically appropriate and permitted by state regulations.
- Experience or comfort using online tools and technology for virtual patient care.
- Ability to work independently as a 1099 contractor.
- Willingness to undergo credentialing and enrollment with multiple health plans.
- Telemedicine experience is considered a plus.
- Holding multiple state licenses is a strong advantage.
- Fluency in additional languages is a strong advantage.
Responsibilities
- Conduct video consultations and communicate with patients via the UpLift telemedicine platform.
- Assess, screen, diagnose, and prescribe medication as clinically appropriate and permitted by state law.
- Coordinate treatment planning and care delivery in collaboration with the UpLift network of therapists.
- Provide empathetic, high-quality care in alignment with UpLift’s clinical and service standards.
- Share product and workflow feedback with engineering and operations teams to improve care delivery.
