Requirements
- Diploma in Drafting Technology or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CAD Drafter, preferably in the mining industry.
- Proficient in AutoCAD (required).
- Experience in Heavy Industrial, EPCM, Oil & Gas, Tunneling, or Infrastructure projects.
- Experience working on underground mining or underground civil infrastructure projects.
- Ability to interpret engineering sketches, markups, and design instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple drafting tasks within deadlines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience with SolidWorks (advantageous).
Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and revise detailed technical drawings and design packages for underground and surface mining projects.
- Develop layouts, sections, plans, and construction details for civil, mechanical, structural, and mining infrastructure projects.
- Coordinate drawing development with engineers, project managers, procurement personnel, and field operations teams.
- Perform field verification and site assessments to support design development and as-built documentation.
- Maintain drawing control systems, revision tracking, and document management processes.
- Identify drafting discrepancies or design conflicts and communicate solutions to project teams.
