Requirements

- Significant experience working in or editing papers in a related field.
- Documented current or former affiliation with an accredited, not-for-profit, college or university with selective admission policies.
- Classes at the affiliated institution must be conducted primarily in English.
- Ability to partner with AI and automation tools.
- Strong technical writing skills.
- Based in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Edit scholarly manuscripts originally written by non-native English speakers.
- Partner with AI and automation tools to manage manuscript preparation.
- Verify edits made by automation tools for accuracy and reject incorrect changes.
- Perform manual edits to manuscripts based on field-specific expertise.
- Select manuscripts to edit based on personal areas of expertise.
