Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, cloud security engineering, or IT risk management.
- Hands-on experience securing at least two major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI).
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and cloud networking.
- Experience implementing security controls within regulated environments.
- Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or Bicep.
- Experience with cloud security monitoring, vulnerability management, and IAM.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering and DevOps teams.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to obtain High-Risk Public Trust access.
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain security configurations and baseline controls across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI.
- Design and maintain security automation using infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Operate and improve cloud security platforms including SIEM, SOAR, and vulnerability scanners.
- Manage cloud IAM policies, roles, and least-privilege models.
- Apply security frameworks such as FedRAMP and NIST 800-53.
- Harden compute, storage, databases, and serverless resources.
- Partner with DevOps to integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and remediation efforts.
