Requirements
- Strong commercial experience with PHP and Laravel or Symfony frameworks.
- Deep understanding of backend architecture: microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven systems.
- Practical experience with MySQL/MariaDB, MongoDB, and Redis.
- Proficiency with infrastructure and deployment tools including Docker, Kubernetes, and GitLab CI/CD.
- Hands-on experience with AI tooling such as Claude Code, Cursor, or similar development environments.
- Ability to explain technical trade-offs to product managers and business rationale to engineers.
- Fluency in Polish (C1) and English (B2).
- Mindset for end-to-end ownership and proactive problem-solving.
- Experience shipping software that has survived contact with real users.
- Understanding of event sourcing, CQRS, or MCP server development is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Own backend initiatives from technical discovery and feasibility validation through to implementation, release, and production.
- Design, build, test, and ship backend services while staying on standby through hypercare.
- Identify constraints and shape technical approaches before feature scope is finalized.
- Use AI-augmented development tools like Claude Code and MCP servers as part of the daily workflow.
- Collaborate directly with Product Managers to translate business problems into technical solutions.
- Continuously improve systems and maintain end-to-end quality without relying on external QA teams.
