Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in software testing, quality assurance, or a related technical role.
- Basic understanding of software development lifecycles and testing methodologies (functional, regression, integration).
- Familiarity with basic testing concepts such as test cases, test data, and defect management.
- Experience with bug tracking systems such as Jira.
- Academic or practical exposure to scripting/programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Interest in and willingness to use GenAI tools to assist with scripting and test design.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to complete assigned tasks with supervision.
Responsibilities
- Execute test plans and test cases as directed by senior QE team members.
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing across Web, API, and Data components.
- Identify, document, and track defects in Jira with clear reproduction steps.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of test data.
- Assist in troubleshooting and investigating issues by gathering logs and validating fixes.
- Contribute to basic manual and automated test scripts following established standards.
- Leverage AI tools for script writing, test case generation, and intelligent system searches.
