Requirements
- 7+ years in software and/or infrastructure engineering roles.
- 5+ years in Cloud/DevOps or platform-focused engineering.
- Expertise in Azure or AWS.
- Demonstrated ability to provide technical direction to engineers and lead delivery across teams.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code and scripting/automation.
- Expertise with secure CI/CD platforms and delivery tooling.
- Proven experience leading high availability/disaster recovery designs, hybrid networking, and secure cloud baselines.
- Experience with Agile practices and version control systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- Advanced cloud certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure) (preferred).
- Demonstrated leadership in platform standardization and org-wide observability (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Own delivery of platform solutions across teams and systems, aligning technical direction with business goals and customer impact.
- Lead standardization of cloud platform patterns and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), enforcing reviews, reusable modules, and testing.
- Lead CI/CD implementations and integrations across multiple teams to raise delivery quality and velocity.
- Design scalable, multi-region architectures and resilient global networking patterns.
- Embed security and compliance by design across infrastructure and delivery tooling.
- Drive telemetry and observability strategy, including meaningful SLOs and actionable alerts.
- Influence cost planning and guardrails through tagging, monitoring, and automation.
- Coach and mentor engineers, providing technical leadership and raising engineering standards.
