Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
- 8+ years of experience in QA with strong focus on automation testing.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience building automation frameworks.
- Strong expertise with Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Experience automating REST APIs and working with API testing tools.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC practices.
- Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Solid SQL skills for data validation and backend testing.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web, API, and distributed systems.
- Develop and maintain robust automated test scripts covering functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing.
- Implement API automation frameworks using tools such as REST Assured or Postman/Newman.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Perform database validation using SQL and conduct root-cause analysis of production issues.
- Support performance testing efforts using tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or k6.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with development teams to improve software testability.
