Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of experience in wireless network engineering and large-scale infrastructure management.
- Proven experience supporting and maintaining extensive wireless access point deployments across distributed environments.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, wireless protocols, and enterprise network security principles.
- Advanced understanding of operating systems including Windows, UNIX/Linux, and macOS environments.
- Experience with automation, scripting, and network configuration tools.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to diagnose complex network issues and drive timely resolution in high-pressure environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead the daily operations and long-term evolution of enterprise wireless infrastructure across multiple sites, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
- Manage and mentor wireless engineering staff, providing technical guidance, training, and performance oversight.
- Design, implement, and maintain wireless network architecture, including hardware/software configuration, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
- Develop automation scripts and deployment tools to streamline wireless network provisioning and operational efficiency.
- Define and execute strategic roadmaps for wireless technology adoption, capacity planning, and infrastructure modernization.
- Collaborate with security and IT operations teams to ensure compliance, resilience, and incident response effectiveness.
- Oversee troubleshooting and resolution of wireless incidents in coordination with service desk and infrastructure teams.
