Requirements
- 15+ years of estimating experience, including significant exposure to data center or other highly technical construction projects.
- Extensive expertise across all phases of construction estimating, cost planning, benchmarking, and peer review processes.
- Proven leadership experience building, developing, and managing high-performing estimating teams.
- Strong knowledge of contractor bid analysis, cost modeling, and change order evaluation.
- Excellent business development, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities with the confidence to represent clients in complex discussions.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative leadership style with a commitment to building trusted relationships and delivering high-quality results.
Responsibilities
- Lead estimating activities across complex data center construction projects, ensuring accurate cost planning throughout all project stages.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with project teams, clients, contractors, and key stakeholders to support successful project delivery.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve estimating processes, methodologies, and quality standards.
- Review and validate cost plans, ensuring estimates are comprehensive, accurate, and delivered within project timelines.
- Oversee contractor bid evaluations, benchmarking initiatives, and cost analysis to support informed procurement decisions.
- Provide technical guidance on change orders, cost variations, and post-budget estimating activities.
- Deliver regular progress updates and reporting while maintaining high standards of quality control.
- Mentor and support estimating team members, fostering collaboration, professional development, and operational excellence.
