Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Track record of taking full ownership of projects from spec to ship.
- Hands-on technical depth in domains where data accuracy and edge-case handling are non-negotiable.
- Demonstrated ability to bridge communication and technical requirements between engineering and non-engineering domain experts.
- AI-native fluency with clear judgment on the use of AI tooling in development.
- Comfortable working across the full stack including backend, frontend, and infrastructure.
- Experience in fintech or project management software is preferred.
- Experience with billing, ledger, workflow, RBAC, or authentication systems is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain systems that manage the full accounting practice lifecycle.
- Own core services, infrastructure, and confidence metrics to ensure system accuracy and performance.
- Partner closely with accounting and firm operations experts to translate business rules into technical systems.
- Develop and extend APIs to facilitate seamless connections with external data sources and downstream tools.
- Manage development projects end-to-end, from initial specification to scaling and maintenance.
