- Minimum of 5 years of federal contracting experience
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Public Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of federal contracting experience, including exposure to construction and A/E contracts.
- Strong knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and related agency-specific procurement policies.
- Experience supporting acquisition lifecycle activities in a federal environment.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills with attention to regulatory detail.
- Experience with federal procurement systems such as PRISM, FPDS, or FBMS is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with FAC-C or DAWIA certification standards is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills, with the ability to support contracting officers and cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Support full lifecycle contracting activities, including pre-award planning, solicitation development, post-award administration, and contract closeout in alignment with federal requirements.
- Conduct acquisition planning and market research to determine appropriate contracting strategies and sourcing approaches.
- Prepare and issue solicitations such as RFPs and RFQs, including amendments and supporting documentation.
- Assist in technical evaluations, including best-value tradeoff analyses and proposal review processes.
- Perform cost and price analysis, support negotiation activities, and prepare award and modification documentation.
- Maintain accurate electronic contract files and ensure compliance with federal and agency documentation standards.
- Administer active contracts, resolve payment-related issues, and process contract modifications for approval.
- Support federal construction and A/E contract activities, ensuring regulatory compliance throughout execution.
- Assist with contract closeout activities, verifying completeness and adherence to applicable regulations.
