Approximately 4+ years of experience in software engineering roles
Strong proficiency in Java or C#, with experience in backend and distributed systems development
Hands-on experience with search technologies such as Solr, Lucene, or Elasticsearch
Experience working in cloud-based or private cloud environments
Familiarity with Kubernetes for application deployment and management
Understanding of Agile methodologies and modern software development practices
Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka or AMQ is a plus
Familiarity with MS SQL and Linux-based systems
Strong communication skills with a collaborative and proactive mindset
Ability to adapt to evolving requirements and work effectively in dynamic environments
Interest in AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering productivity practices

Design, develop, and maintain distributed systems supporting large-scale search and archival capabilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and site reliability teams to define and deliver technical solutions
Participate in on-call rotations to support production systems, incident response, and long-term reliability improvements
Implement modern engineering practices including CI/CD pipelines, Agile workflows, and DevOps principles
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while proactively addressing performance bottlenecks and technical debt
Deploy, manage, and monitor applications in Kubernetes-based environments
Use observability tools to ensure system health and performance
Contribute to code reviews, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives
