Requirements
- Proven experience in data engineering including SQL and ETL jobs
- Proficiency in Python programming
- Experience using NoSQL databases such as document-oriented or graph databases
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices including CI/CD, Git, infrastructure-as-code, and Docker
- B.A. or B.S. degree in IT or relevant professional experience
- Professional proficiency in English
- Knowledge of semantic web technology stack (RDF, SPARQL) preferred
- Experience with Amazon Web Services serverless services such as Lambda, Glue, and Step Functions
- Experience with Atlassian tools including Jira and Confluence
Responsibilities
- Building ETL pipelines to integrate data from laboratory instruments
- Creating database queries to support effective use of the laboratory instrument data
- Responding to Allotrope Foundation‘s releases and changes in MSD's DevOps and cloud infrastructure
- Developing MSD's extensions of Allotrope Simple Models in JSON Schema
