Requirements
- Master’s or PhD in Human Genetics, Laboratory Medicine, Molecular Biology/Pathology, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience in clinical genomics workflows including NGS library preparation and analysis.
- Deep understanding of variant classification frameworks and NGS workflows.
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse stakeholders including clinicians and IT professionals.
- Native in Italian.
- Proficiency in English.
- Willingness to undertake international business travel in Europe.
- Familiarity with clinical NGS interpretation in hospital or private lab settings is strongly valued.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards such as IVDR, CLIA, or CAP is a plus.
- Experience in multicultural environments or supporting international customers.
Responsibilities
- Deliver expert pre-sales demonstrations bridging clinical needs with VarSome Premium and Clinical.
- Manage the customer evaluation process and advise on lab equipment and system integrations.
- Lead onboarding sessions for geneticists and bioinformaticians to ensure rapid time to value.
- Coordinate on-premises and private cloud deployment infrastructure between clients and the DevOps team.
- Optimize filtering strategies and automation to support customer workflows.
- Gather user feedback to influence product roadmap and develop technical white papers.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to translate features into benefits.
