Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Computer Science, or a business-related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of dedicated hands-on SAP PP functional consulting experience.
- Participation in at least one full life cycle end-to-end implementation or migration project.
- Expertise in Master Data Management (Material Master, BOMs, Work Centers, Routings/Recipe).
- Strong configuration skills in MRP, consumption-based planning, and Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP).
- Experience with Discrete, Process, and Repetitive manufacturing frameworks.
- Knowledge of Capacity Requirements Planning (CRP) and capacity leveling.
- Understanding of SAP S/4HANA simplified data models, MRP Live, and Fiori apps.
- Ability to write functional specifications and guide developers using User Exits or BAdIs.
- Prior background in manufacturing or logistics industry domain is highly desirable.
- Official SAP Certification in Production Planning is a strong plus.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate workshops with plant managers and supply chain teams to gather requirements and map business processes to SAP architectures.
- Perform hands-on configuration of the SAP PP module, focusing on Master Data, MRP, and Shop Floor Execution.
- Author detailed functional specification documents for custom enhancements, reports, and third-party interfaces.
- Collaborate with consultants across MM, SD, QM, and FICO modules to ensure end-to-end data flow and cross-functional logic alignment.
- Design test scripts and execute unit, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Develop training manuals and provide post-go-live hypercare and troubleshooting support.
