Requirements
- 8–10+ years of experience in integration engineering, software engineering, or similar technical roles.
- Strong focus on system-to-system connectivity.
- Proven experience integrating third-party systems with enterprise healthcare platforms, ideally including EHR systems such as Epic.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Familiarity with modern backend development practices.
- Deep understanding of healthcare interoperability standards including HL7, FHIR, and SMART on FHIR.
- Experience designing APIs and working with cloud-based SaaS architectures.
- Experience supporting distributed systems at scale.
- Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve production integration issues.
- Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage multiple priorities.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable integrations between SaaS platforms and healthcare systems, including EHR solutions such as Epic and Oracle Cerner.
- Develop and optimize RESTful APIs, integration frameworks, and data pipelines supporting interoperability across clinical and operational systems.
- Troubleshoot complex integration issues in production environments, ensuring continuity of data flow.
- Validate and test integrations using healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7, FHIR, and SMART on FHIR frameworks.
- Build and maintain automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools to ensure integration reliability.
- Produce clear technical documentation, integration guides, and system specifications for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to translate requirements into scalable integration solutions.
